We love to learn, explore and investigate in P3.

To help us do that our teacher plans lots of fun, engaging lessons including:

Numeracy- we learn about number, shapes, money, time and handling data

Literacy- we learn spelling, grammar,  writing, reading and phonics

World Around Us- we explore lots of interesting topics like Water, Castles and Minibeasts 

There is also PE, RE, PDMU, the Arts and our favourite… Activity Based Learning (learning through play)

P3  September/October

Language and Literacy

The focus for Literacy and language will be on reading topic books and researching using books and the internet. We will write using daily writing prompts, and learn and revise phonic sounds. 

Mathematics and Number

In mathematics and numeracy will be looking at  Place Value, addition and subtractionWe will continue learning about days of the week, months of the year and seasons of the year.
