Last Week P1 celebrated Maths Week through our Incy Wincy Spider activities.
They were counting insects stuck in Incy Wincy's web.
Looking at numbers on spiders and attaching pegs to match.
Catching numbered insects with giant spiders.
Using tweezers to find numbers amongst the critters in the water tray.
Using sticks and stones to count 8 legs and eight eyes, thinking carefully about where they put the legs (4+4) and thinking about how many more legs/eyes were needed.
