Pupil Voice

At Wheatfield Primary School we value the voice of our pupils in their education.  We have established several pupil groups in school.  

 

Pupil Leadership Team

Lead Teacher: Mr Lister

The Pupil Leadership Team each applied for the role and had an interview with members of the SLT.  They have been selected for the role as we believe they are an excellent role model and ambassador for our school.

The Pupil Leadership Team will assist with:

  • School Events
  • Meeting and greeting visitors who come to school
  • Speaking at various engagements
  • Supporting SLT
  • Leading the pupils in our school by example
 

Pupil Council

Lead Teacher: Mrs Batchelor

Our pupil council is a group of learners from Year 4 to Year 7.  They meet bi-weekly with Mrs Batchelor to discuss school life and events.  Each member of council was elected by their peers to represent them.

 

Digital Leaders

Lead Teacher: Ms Waugh

Learners who will lead the ICT in the school.

Key tasks will involve:

  • Supporting classes with ICT
  • Quick fix for classrooms
  • Learning about new equipment and introducing to the school
